Selena Group invests in the development of photovoltaics on large-area roofs. The Polish leader in the construction chemicals industry expands its proposition for business customers and offers complete roofing solutions, including waterproofing and photovoltaic installations for roofs. The entire roofing solution comes with a 15-year warranty. <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For years, Selena Group has been consistently marketing products that increase the energy efficiency of buildings and improve the comfort of their use. The complete roofing service called \u201cSelena Energy\u201d will include the existing solutions of Selena Group, such as roofing membranes and shingles, COOL-R\u00ae coatings (which helps reduce air-conditioning expenses in building by up to 50%), and thermal insulation products together with new services such as photovoltaic installations and roof fall protection. All modernization works on the roofs will be managed by a team of a dedicated, newly founded company: Selena ESG (as part of the construction management service).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selena ESG will implement its solutions in the business sector, focusing on large-scale industrial and logistics roofs. The new company\u2019s offer includes performing a roof audit, a detailed modernization design \u2013 particularly design of a complete photovoltaic installation, including reinforcement of the facility\u2019s structure (if necessary) \u2013 and a package of waterproofing and roof fall protection solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIndustrial customers have a growing need to reduce energy costs and switch to renewable energy.<\/em> The photovoltaic market in Poland is increasing by approx. 200% year-on-year. We see huge potential in the development of roofing for large-scale industrial, logistic, food processing, commercial and, recently, also residential buildings. Selena’s \u201ccomplete roofing\u201d offer provides the market with an efficient solution that can both address the problem of leaky roofs and provide an installation tailored to the building\u2019s energy profile and roof design<\/em>\u201d, says Roman M. Meysner<\/strong>, President of the Management Board and General Manager of Selena ESG<\/strong>. \u201cIn addition to the crucial financial aspect, such projects have an environmental side to them.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decision to grow in the new market segment was a natural step in the development of Selena Group. Complete roofs with photovoltaics will complement the Group\u2019s current product range. The new company\u2019s services respond to the needs of firms faced with rising energy prices and create the potential of reducing costs by means of green energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selena ESG has a qualified team of specialists in roof construction and installation as well as support from Selena Group structures, which adds up to its capability to carry out projects throughout the country, in any region and on any scale. The combination of waterproofing, thermal insulation and photovoltaic solutions, backed by an energy and construction audit as well as expert advice on the selection of products and systems, are the features that make Selena ESG’s offering stand out in the market. The company will manage all work related to the Selena Energy complete roofing. The system solutions will be protected by a warranty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selena ESG is planning to expand into new markets in the following quarters. Currently the Group comprises 36 companies in 18 countries.
