Selena Group\u2019s Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders \u2013 as recommended by Selena FM S.A. Management Board \u2013 approved dividend payment from the 2016 profit in the amount of PLN 0,30 per share, over PLN 6.85\u00a0million in total. Record date is set for August 1st and the dividend payment date is set for August 16th 2017.<\/b><\/p>\n

In 2016 Selena achieved\u00a0sales revenues of PLN 1\u00a0013.8\u00a0million<\/b>. The Group recorded sales growth i. a. in\u00a0Brasil (by 21%), USA (by 21%), Turkey (by 15%), Spain (by 2%)<\/b>\u00a0and in\u00a0Central Europe (by 8%). Group\u2019s profit amounted to PLN 32.2\u00a0million in the analyzed period \u2013 5.4\u00a0million higher than in 2015.<\/b>\u00a0EBIT reached the level of PLN 35.6\u00a0million. The company\u2019s results were achieved in spite of the fact that 2016 was a year of many challenges not only for Selena Group but for the whole construction sector and many associated branches.<\/p>\n

\u201eThe dividend payout is a proof of the company\u2019s good condition and perspectives for further growth.<\/b>\u00a0In the coming months we will focus primarily on further\u00a0operational optimization, creating an advantage on international markets and consistent development of distribution network.<\/b>\u00a0We will achieve this with the help of our\u00a0well-developed R&D department<\/b>, that creates solutions which our competition doesn\u2019t have and through further\u00a0integration of the Italian company Uniflex<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 in March we acquired 64% of the company\u2019s shares. Uniflex is a producer of modern acrylics, through which\u00a0Selena will be able to achieve in Western Europe a leading position in production of construction chemicals<\/b>. I am convinced that the Group is ready for it and will consistently increase its share of the international markets in all segments\u201d<\/i>\u00a0\u2013 said\u00a0Jean-No\u00ebl Fourel, Selena FM SA President of the Management Board.<\/b><\/p>\n

  • Kazakhstan<\/b>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0opening<\/b>\u00a0of the latest\u00a0factory and distribution centre<\/b>\u00a0in \u201cAstana, The New City\u201d Special Economic Zone, which will significantly boost production capabilities of the Group in this region. In addition Selena attended the\u00a0Poland-Kazakhstan Economic Forum<\/b>\u00a0which was organized next to visit in Poland of President of Kazakhstan,\u00a0Nursultan Nazarbajew\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n
  • China<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 establishing a\u00a0joint venture company<\/b>\u00a0based on an agreement between\u00a0Selena Nantong Building Materials Co. Ltd and Shanghai Haozheng Construction Engineering Co. Ltd<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 a Chinese company operating on PU foam and other construction chemicals market<\/li>\n
  • Brazil<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 introduction of\u00a06 new products to the South American market\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n
  • Russia<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 presentation of innovative products and strategy for further development of\u00a0Selena Vostok<\/b>\u00a0and attendance in the biggest fairs in the region \u2013\u00a0MosBuild<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • 60 SECONDS<\/b>\u2013 innovative foam adhesive (FOAM ADHESIVE division, a new category on the construction chemicals market that describes adhesives in the form of foam), which provides fast initial tack after only 60 seconds and does not expand<\/li>\n
    • IS 13\u00a0<\/b>\u2013 Fast Adhesive for ETICS \u2013 recommended for mounting insulation boards (FOAM ADHESIVE division) \u2013 this product reduces and simplifies the process of building insulation<\/li>\n
    • NoEM Electro Protector<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 product in the form of white paint and a primer which absorbs 99% of the low frequency electric field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
