On his visit, the Polish President together with Selena\u2019s founder Krzysztof Domarecki and the Group\u2019s CEO Jean No\u00ebl Fourel visited the plant opened in December 2016 by the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" title=\"selena kazachstan andrzej duda.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/selena.com\/upload\/medialibrary\/3c0\/3c00ed9748be36c064b0cc288e94cda9.jpg\" alt=\"selena kazachstan andrzej duda.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" align=\"right\" border=\"0\" \/>On 7 September 2017, the Group\u2019s newest production plant in the Special Economic Zone \u201cAstana \u2013 new city\u201d \u2013 Selena Insulations \u2013 was visited\u00a0<b>by the Polish President Andrzej Duda<\/b>. He was accompanied by the host\u2019s representatives \u2013\u00a0<b>the CEO of Selena Group Jean-No\u00ebl Fourel<\/b>\u00a0and the Supervisory Board Chairman and\u00a0<b>founder of the company \u2013 Krzysztof Domarecki<\/b>, as well as the representatives of Polish authorities \u2013\u00a0<b>Deputy Minister for Economic Development Tadeusz Ko\u015bci\u0144ski, Minister for the Environment Jan Szyszko, Secretary of State and Chief of the Cabinet of the President Krzysztof Szczerski<\/b>\u00a0together with representatives of the Kazakh authorities \u2013\u00a0<b>Mayor of Astana Asset Orentayevich Issekeshev and Alisher Abdykadyrov \u2013 Head of the Department for Investments and Development of Astana and Margulan Baimukhan, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Poland<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Selena Insulations is the Group\u2019s newest production plant located in the Special Economic Zone \u201cAstana &#8211; new city\u201d. The plant has 50 employees and its production capacity allows approx. 1<b>20 thousand tons of modern construction chemicals<\/b>\u00a0<b>to be manufactured per year.<\/b>\u00a0The launch of the Astana plant has facilitated the Group\u2019s further expansion into new markets. Ultimately,\u00a0<b>more than 40% of the production will be exported to the countries of Central Asia<\/b>\u00a0and to\u00a0<b>southern Siberia<\/b>. Selena Insulations is one of the Group\u2019s 17\u00a0<b>production plants located around the world<\/b>, notably in\u00a0<b>Europe, South America<\/b>\u00a0and\u00a0<b>Asia<\/b>. It produces modern mortars for thermal insulation of houses and innovative wet thin-coat plasters: acrylic, silicone and silicate ones. The Tytan brand products are manufactured using the same technologies as those that Selena applies at its plants in P<b>oland, Spain, Turkey, Brazil or Korea<\/b>. In many markets, including in Kazakhstan, the Tytan brand is synonymous with quality and reliability, and is appreciated by both professionals and individual users.<\/p>\n<p><b>Selena Insulation<\/b>s is more than just a production facility, it is also a\u00a0<b>modern distribution centre<\/b>. The Group\u2019s offer for the local market includes\u00a0<b>more than 200 products,<\/b>\u00a0and the company operates from its branches in Almaty, Shymkent, Atyrau, Aktobe, Aktau and Karaganda.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe visit of President Andrzej Duda to Selena Insulations production plant in Kazakhstan is both an honour and a sign of trust for the company.\u00a0<b>Over the 25 years of its existence, Selena has become a global leader in the construction chemicals sector and our production plant and the distribution centre in Astana is a flagship example of modernity, as well as a model for other firms in the region.<\/b>\u00a0For years, Selena has been\u00a0<b>actively involved in shaping Poland\u2019s relations with Kazakhstan<\/b>.
