Jacek Michalak is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Sociology at the University of Łódź, major in Finance and Banking. During his professional career, he participated in training and courses at known European business universities, including INSECAD, IMD and ESADE. In 2002, he graduated from INSECAD International Management Programme and obtained the ‘INSEAD alumni’ status.

He worked for Huhtamaki, Leaf Poland as the Financial Director in 1992-1995 and for PepsiCo, Wedel S.A. acting as Financial Controller in 1995-1998.

He worked for Pepsico, Frito Lay, London as Planning Manager for the Europe, Middle East and Africa Region in 1998-1999, and for Pepsico Frito Lay as Regional Controller for Eastern Europe in 1999-2000.

He then acted as the Financial Director and a Member of the Management Board at Carlsberg Poland (Okocim S.A.), Carlsberg UK based in Northampton and Carlsberg Shared Service Center in Poznań, where he also acted as the Managing Director.

In 2011-2012 he worked for Petrolot sp. z o.o. as the Financial Director. In 2012-2019 he was the Financial Director of ZT ‘Kruszwica’ SA and a Member of the Management Board of the Company.

On 24 June 2019, by a resolution of the Supervisory Board of Selena FM S.A., he was appointed to the Management Board of the company as a Member of the Management Board for Finance as of 1 July 2019.

On 16 February 2021, by a resolution of the Supervisory Board of Selena FM S.A., he was appointed President of the Management Board of the company as of 1 March 2021.

On 27 May 2021, by a resolution of the Supervisory Board of Selena FM S.A., he was appointed as President of the Management Board of the company for a new term of office.
