The Supervisory Board of Selena FM SA made decision to introduce two new members to the Management Board: Jaroslaw Michniuk and Slawomir Lis. Simultaneously, the Supervisory Board accepted Elzbieta A. Szymanska’s resignation as the member of Management Board.
As of 25 July 2011, Jaroslaw Michniuk shall become Selena FM SA’s member of the Management Board. For the past 20 years, he has been with BASF, where his most recent position was Senior Vice-President for the Styrolution group of companies – covering BASF’s styrenics business in Europe Middle-East and Africa. In the first stages of his work with Selena, Jaroslaw Michniuk shall supervise Group’s product Business Units, along with R&D and Selena’s manufacturing companies.
As of 3 October 2011, Slawomir Lis shall become Selena’s Sales & Marketing Vice President. He gained his long time managerial experience – among others – in Warta Glass, where it was his job to devise a coherent trade strategy and management system for the companies within the group and developing both domestic and export sales. Lately, as the president of the Management Board with PPG Deco Poland – the manufacturer of Dekoral and Sigma coatings, among others – he supervised the concern’s companies in Eastern Europe. With the Selena Group, he shall be responsible for consolidated sales and marketing.
Elzbieta A. Szymanska tendered her resignation from the position of Selena’s member of Management Board, with effect from 31 July 2011 and plans for a return to Warsaw, after having spent 4 years in Wroclaw. The reasons for Ms. Szymanska’s resignation are of personal nature.
